Ramadan Prayer Campaign
Open Doors plans to mobilize Christians from all over the world to pray for Muslims during the month of Ramadan. At a time when Muslims are seeking God the most through prayer and fasting, we hope to start an international movement of Christians in prayer for the Muslim world.

Can you envision it? 100,000 Christians praying for Muslims? 200,000 Christians on their knees for the lost? We believe that prayer can impact the world, and our intention is to provide you with detailed prayer needs, photos, testimonies, and other helps so that you will pray with us, and that your prayers may be effective and powerful!

This year Ramadan begins on August 11 and runs through September 9. We will share more details of this campaign with you later this year, so please check back with us.

In the meantime, please consider reading the 30 Day Muslim Prayer Focus. It will guide you in many ways toward praying on behalf of Muslims. As you pray, you'll find your heart softened, and discover a love for those that are lost.

September Prayer Emphasis: Pakistan


Please do not forget the people of Pakistan. As reports have indicated, nearly 14 million people are affected by the flooding in Pakistan and 1600 people have died, with the death toll continuing to rise.

This disaster has affected both Christian and Muslim alike, and the entire population needs our prayers.

Please pray for the believers, especially the Muslim Background Believers as the only places of refuge, food and shelter are the Mosques, where there will be pressure on them to convert or then live under the constant threat of a possible blasphemy accusation.

Pray for the organizations that are in country and able to help. Pray they will be able to minister to those in need, helping to meet some of the basic needs as well as demonstrate the love of Christ through medical care, encouragement and discipleship.

There has never been a greater opportunity share Christ's love within Pakistan. Pray for the Lord's protection over and for the boldness of believers to make the most of this challenge.
